Out of Order is a multimedia exhibition exploring the impact that a lack of decent, private toilets has on a third of women across the globe. Led by a group of female artists, illustrators and singers from the UK and Sierra Leone, the exhibition is in collaboration with international development charity WaterAid, and explores the issues faced by women living in some of the world’s poorest communities without access to proper toilet facilities.
The exhibit will be open to the public from Thursday 16 November, culminating on World Toilet Day on Sunday 19 November.
In advance of the World Toilet Day, WaterAid also launches the report “Out of Order – the state of the worlds toilets 2017“, WaterAid’s third-annual analysis of the world’s toilets.
