Financing water supply and sanitation in a changing climate

New report by Pacific Institute and Water.org finds rising temperatures and sea levels, changing precipitation patterns, and more frequent and intense floods and droughts are key climate threats to the successful design, construction, and operation of water supply and sanitation systems.

Poor and marginalized populations are especially vulnerable to climate impacts on water, sanitation, and hygiene systems because of reliance on vulnerable systems, weaker institutional protections, and limited access to funding.
