Debate: The importance of clean toilets and water in Mogadishu schools
After the collapse of Somali government in 1991, public schools have lost their role. They were replaced by a private school. Although most of these private schools are profit-oriented, they never look after the sanitation of their schools. The issue of adequate clean toilets has never been solved yet. Students rely on tap water. Therefore to raise awareness for the importance of school sanitation, we are conducting a debate on the importance of clean toilets and water in our schools. The debate will be participated in by public health students from the ten most popular universities in Mogadishu Somalia.
